Write books
Politicians often make the choice to write books, and many of them will use these books to raise its base of volunteers. It has always been a great tool for high-power politicians in the House of Representatives and the Senate, or perhaps to stand in presidential elections. Heads of States often will also write books and that they use these books to drive their popularity, and helping to establish themselves as experts on the integrity and credibility.
Not long ago, I pulled an old book from my bookcase a politician, who later became president. You shall call his name he was once governor of Arkansas and his running mate at the time know where the senator from Tennessee, just like his father, a man who later run for the presidency and lost. Of course you may already know who I'm talking about, but the book that I like is recommended;
"Putting People First, how we change America" by Gov.. Bill Clinton and Senator Al Gore, 1992
Before I explain in this book, I would be glad to know that I am conservative, and I doubt I would always vote for the Lord. Although the story has Bill Clinton done well except for his little escapades with intern. In this book, he talks about agriculture, arms control, the deterioration of our cities, civil rights, ADA, health care, immigration and all the problems and challenges in the Middle East. Yes, they are not yet finalized.
In retrospect, much of what he wrote in the book does not go well even with him as president. His initiative agriculture was transformed into a company's social policy. His arms control ideas only led to a lie, and North Korea over its missile if it was my turn to catch Osama bin Laden, he missed. His civil rights initiative, was transformed in just more politically correct. And his health care subsidized only HMOs and many of the billionaires.
Regarding American Disabilities Act, it has been all over the country will be sued by lawyers for small businesses. Regarding immigration, he did not have it, not that everyone else is either the president, but it is interesting. He could not solve the problem between Israel and Palestine, as if this is still solvable, or if there ever peace.
He gives in the book that we have advanced technology, a civilian authority, and I think he is right. In all cases, it's fun to this old political books to read, because you can access the story behind the words and see if they mean something. Think about these things.
